Andrews credits vaccine mandates, world record lockdowns and Police brutality for Melbourne returning to top of World’s Most Liveable City poll

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has credited punitive measures taken by his government as the reason why Melbourne is now back as the World’ Most Liveable City for 2022.

The annual poll of property developers, immigration lobbyists and World Economic Forum members agreed with Andrews that the brutality in the world’s most locked down city last year got it over the line.

“With respect to all concerned who made this happen, I’m honoured that we are back to the top of this completely bullshit poll,” Andrews said.

“In a time of rising interest rates and crippling inflation, it’s definitely about time we flooded the place with more migrants so we can get those house price losses back to where they need to be – to the moon.”

“We can now get back to the business of what this globalist survey was really designed for – getting people to move here so we can juice house prices, smash wages and spruik GDP in a state with no real productivity.”

Andrews said he would continue to ensure that Melbourne would meet it’s objective of being ground zero for the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset

Most liveable for communists perhaps!

Agent 47

11/10. Needed the laugh this morning.

The amount of absolute mouth breathing retards in Melbourne that are upset that the city dropped down the rankings in the first place confirms to me that a genocide in Victoria wouldn’t be a bad thing.

robert2013

You can’t commit genocide on such a diverse population. Urbicide maybe?

The word you are looking for is massacre. But I think we need lustration first.

Massacre would do…but feels a bit too general IMO

Stewie

Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

stagmal

those livability surveys are pure unadultered b.s. they are not based on a normal person’s living experience but overseas executives. they were meant to be used interally by companies to calculate expatriate pay, not indications of ‘livability’ that can be generalised to the overall population. they dont take into account things like traffic and housing affordability which are the fundamental basis for livability.

Gouda

Well said, these rankings have no bearings on anyone’s lived experience.

The media is also just using these lists as clickbait – If you hate Dan Andrews, there are articles that has Melbourne “plummeting” out of the top 10, a catastrophe! But for those who love Dan Andrews? Melbourne is the top ranked Australian city according to the survey.

Jam

The good thing about the arrogance of Western elites is that they are so assured of their power and control over those whom they now rule, that they have no problem publicly stating what their intentions are – they simply assume no one will either pay attention or do anything about it.

Mig is funnier
Edit: Mig is also a real person. Who knows which of the many regular trolls of MB is the character Mathias. All those creatures over at the economic zone freely admit to creating characters to troll MB with for years, I’m sure they’ll say I’m the sad one but I can’t imagine being such a sad sack you’d spend time creating multiple false online identities independent and distinct from each other just to troll an economics blog. Yes stewie, I’m talking about you.

Matthias does seem like he would fit in here much better than there

Also WaF is much more polite and articulate over there than here

Blah ha ha hah! “All those creatures over at the economic zone” awww poor diddums got his feelings hurt.

“Yes stewie, I’m talking about you.”

Talk about living rent free in his head… mind you, that a hovel in a roach motel that doubles for his head, isn’t much of a prize.

Honestly couldn’t be fucked setting up an account to Troll them – there is honestly nobody there worth sparing with. That place is dead, the most fun to be had is Phfts subtle mocking if DLS.

Someone should invite that Mathias chap to come and post over here:

Amazing that one heterodox thinker like Mathias can trigger such a collective outpouring of angst by MB’s posse of group think middle aged poseurs and pansies…. almost enough to makes me nostalgic for all the grief I use to cause them. Nah.

for some reason I first read that as you granting stagmal permission to impregnate your wife… 😂

Stewie

Mmmm….. maybe Chad is living rent free in your mind?

Peachy

Whose EZFKA’s resident troll who makes those multiple accounts?

im pretty sure that there isn’t one. Although I don’t look at MB frequently enough to know, even if there was one…. I’m only there on occasion, to see if there is any fodder for a “Davo/Leitho are so deluded about xxxx” piece 😆

DictatorDavid

Pre-EZFKA I made hundreds of accounts there. I’ve admitted that and always said I’d sign up for 10 years if they actually got the housing bubble bursting right. I increasingly trolled there when DLS lost the plot and started banning random members + censoring speech.

The best was when DLS censored a post I made about Trump, which wasn’t bad but didn’t suit his agenda. Called him out and what a cunt he was and he posted that one having a cry. A few people saw it in it’s glory before he deleted that one too haha

But since they made it that you need to pay $1 just for an account I stopped. The current MB isn’t worth $1 to me, would rather chip in dollary-doos to run this site tbh.

Stewie

I remember that!! I saw that for the brief moments it was up. I lol’ed hard over that public sook and epic self own.

Peachy

have they got a new Mathias? Is this the second coming of the Mathias?

the old Mathias was a bit of a sad sack and a worry-wart, if I remember correctly.

this one is a disinhibited ranter trying to tackle some societal/historical issues. Certainly makes for more interesting reading.

Jam

What about MikeMB that one cracked me up . I just lol thinking about his posts.

Jam

I remember one the MB guys saying why don’t you set up your own website blog. Lolz

Stewie

All hail Peachy!

(lol – From memory I think that muppet Becker. DLS pointedly ignored nearly all my posts and comments)

Gouda

W@F is just projecting. Because he trolls here, he assumes this is normal behaviour so thinks posters here must do the same thing. Can recall early on he’d talk about having done jail time and demanding people meet him in person to punch on is either a fake internet tough guy or someone with major conduct/anti-social issues.
But thinking others do as he does is problematic for a few reasons.
Over the time EZFKA has existed, I have observed an increased number of contributors have put their time into writing articles – including but not limited to Timbo, Mr Sinister, T, Peachy, Coming, Stewie, stagmal, Freddy, bjw678, DictatorDavid, Robert, Gruppenfuhrer  Mark… even I’ve written a few things myself. I find that it’s always great to see commentary and engagement. So why would any of us want to waste time posting any kind of content to a rival site?

Many of the initial EZFKA members were either banned or became disinterested with embee in the first place, so while it’s fun to mock embee, MPLOL, 18 months and the like – most of this occurs here.

The other issue is that if it were true that people were trolling embee in the hyper aggressive W@F style, it would be an implicit admission that embee’s security measures aren’t up to scratch at weeding out duplicate accounts. At EZFKA, new posters get a range of responses ranging from calm acceptance to outright hostility which acts as a community moderation mechanism – you get what you pay for!

Peachy

This is all true. Another piece is that w@f has probably found some peace, following the grief that befell him.

id also speculate that he would have been experiencing some anxiety in the lead up to the sad event. This would have contributed to the feral behaviour.

I do trust that his feral ranting here was cathartic and therefore somewhat therapeutic and jsut what he needed at the time.

😘

Stewie

More likely the fact that he visits sites like MB and EZFKA because despite being a fuckwit he is brighter than all the other fuckwits he normally associates with. He needs to visit MB or EZFKA in order to satisfy an intellectual need to stimulate himself beyond crushing beer cans against his forehead.

MB is policed and if he doesn’t behave himself in terms of keeping his anti-social behaviours in check, then his only option at sating his limited intellectual curiosity means he will have no choice but to return to EZFKA.

The trouble is EZFKA is unpoliced and the temptation to unleash on comments which he disagrees with, in an unpoliced forum where despite his slight intellectual superiority to the tomatoes he keeps telling everyone he’s growing, means he will be totally outclassed by the majority of posters in this forum should they actually care to engage with him – for sport, amusement or whatever, and whatever intellectual relief he was seeking will be drowned in humiliation and frustration.

Essentially his self worth in terms of sating his limited intellectual curiosity is better met in the safe and policed environment of MB than the free range world of EZFKA.

While we are talking recently about central banks , this is the most insane thing I’ve ever heard I can’t believe it’s real

https://twitter.com/charliebilello/status/1539821276402966528?s=21&t=zf-7SB33Yarwci0Xud6YAA

Congress just passed a bill that would give the Fed a 3rd mandate: use monetary policy to discriminate on basis of race until they achieve equality of outcome.

can anyone confirm ?

Stewie

It looks legit – I have heard rumours of such a proposal but had, up until now, discounted them as completely unfeasible conspiracy theories.

This is cultural and ethnic war being waged against the founders of the West by those who’ve seized its leadership. Lamp posts and expulsion (for the 110th time) are the only answer.

Peachy

Oh boo

robert2013

I think it is too late for us to reclaim the countries our forebears bequeathed us. The only hope is to organise to section off bits of them. However, it’s very difficult to herd those whose links to land and ancestry have been severed so long ago.

Stewie

Agreed – building a coherent nation and society capable of delivering the collective needs of its members once it’s population and values have been intentionally scrambled is a multigenerational task.

We and are children will never enjoy living in nations and societies that work collectively for the benefit of those people residing within them again, within our or their lifetimes.

As the crisis of peak energy rolls on and we enter into a period of resource scarcity I’m afraid I agree with you that the most likely outcome will be the complete fracturing of the nations we currently reside in, and it will be up to our grandkids to attempt to create order out of the chaos our elites have bequeathed to us.

bjw678

IT certainly sounds like the garbage that the current us gov would be pushing, and they are certainly detached enough from reality to try it.

I’ve really got to wonder how you craft monetary policy that discriminates on race though…

Stewie

It is the second order effects that are also in the bill. Talks of the Fed establishing Lending entities that are to focus on ethnicity and race and finance through the lens of disadvantage and ensure that they are given preferential access to finance.

Basically its a replay of Clinton’s financial reforms that saw a serious relaxation of lending criteria the ultimately fed into the GFC, only this time it will be delivered with the specific focus on Race as opposed to simply ‘poor’.

Honestly, I was staggered at what they are proposing, doesn’t stop there but extends to mandated diversity quotas on boards and leadership councils. Fucking terrible anti-democratic bill.

Bet you won’t hear polite economic blog sites, like the ones still waiting for the ‘Biden Boom’ make one comment in regard to it.

They keep trying to force bikes on people and the same thing keeps happening!

https://7news.com.au/travel/transport/first-melbourne-uber-bike-dumped-after-one-found-in-princes-park-pond-c-732710

“Just one day after the scheme hit the streets in Melbourne, an Uber Jump bike has been spotted dumped in a pond. Two years ago, the city was forced to stop using oBikes after they were ditched on footpaths, thrown in trees and dumped in the Yarra River.”

Stewie

I find it a little sad actually – I like riding push bikes around the place, especially if there is decent infrastructure and Melbourne with its generally flat landscape and wide roads is very well suited.

I also have no problem with the electric bikes – I’ve used one more than one after having an equipment breakdown on one of my longer skates or getting home from the pub when I don’t feel like taking a cab or an Uber and the weather is fine.

To me the deliberate destruction of social capital, as reflected by dumping bikes in ponds is a sad reflection of the wearing down of social trust such that it is less effective at keeping anti-social hooliganism in check.

Coming

private bike rentals isn’t social capital

its global private capital seeking to extract rents , like Uber etc

relying on free use of public infrastructure (in this case footpaths and other council public space) , while diverting the profits overseas to billionaires

it’s a fine if anarchic protest

Stewie

private bike rentals isn’t social capital

No – but leaving its capital freely lying around for us, abiet for profit, is one that relies on significant social capital. A large part of social capital is trust.

The convenience and potential to enrich a lived experience within a city forms a part of our collective social capital, the minor impingement in having a ‘for hire’ bike occasionally parked on the pavement, when there are already plenty of private bikes also tied up on the pavement, is a pretty minor deduction to it imho.

Coming

I’d feel differently if it was council or state government owned service

Agreed – but it is as close as you are going to get in EZFKA.

Had someone come into our factory looking for a job. The company he currently works for (in NSW) is getting threatened with legal action from there Vic branches, because they had to get the jab while the NSW mob didn’t. They feel the company is discrimination them. Company response was to ask the NSW branch to go get the jab so it’s even. Workers at the NSW branch are all currently looking for new jobs.

This is absolutley discraceful. Imagine going through all this BS and thinking it’s finally over only for your colleagues in Vic to do this to you out of spite and jealousy. AND for the company to go along with it. There is no hope in EZFKA.

Peachy

They way I read it, it wasn’t the fault of the blokes on the shop floor in Vic.

they probably pointed to an example of the company’s arbitrariness and hypocrisy, saying “how the hell can you say that the experimental jab is necessary for this work, when it’s not necessary for the same work just a little up the road?”

the company, pigheaded as most are, did the only thing they could do except backing down….

The stupidity of this statement isn’t apparent at first:

…anecdotally speaking, all we are hearing is that people are getting really, really sick with the flu, and it appears more so than previous years,” Munoz said.“ It makes sense given we expected there would be less immunity following two years without the flu circulating in Australia.”

https://www.theage.com.au/national/victoria/very-very-sick-hospitalisations-on-rise-as-doctors-warn-of-nasty-flu-season-20220520-p5amzs.html

People DON’T get the flu every year – the last time I had the flu was probably 8 years or so ago.

IMHO this is the more likely reason:
