Australia has announced that it will continue to stand-up to China by disarming the rest of the country and sending civilian firearms to help bolster war efforts in the Ukraine.
Defence Minister Peter Dutton and Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews made the announcement of total firearm confiscations in a joint press conference, to show they were serious about protecting Australia.
“This is all about keeping Australians safe from threats both domestic and foreign in what has shown to be the gold standard around the world,” Andrews said.
“We’re just finishing the work John Howard started many years ago and shows the Chinese we are serious about defending our country.”
Andrews said she’s also working on how to reduce Australia’s strategic fuel reserves down to one day and importing as many Chinese as possible to boost defence policy.
