I listened to a Jewish explanation of Hell one time, because the Christian bible is built on a lot of early shared text. The difference is quite often in the interpretation.
In the Bible imagery of where hell is described is of fire, often described as chaff being thrown into the fire. From that same text the Christian idea of Hell, became of enteral fire and punishment, while the Jewish concept of Hell is more of one of non-existence. Basically if you live a good life, and are actively involved in your society through the church, which culturally has been the center of societies in the West up until very recently, then you had a high chance of entering heaven i.e. the future society, through your genes being passed on to future generations.
If however you were an atheist, which in many cases is simply a code for, “I’d rather do what I like” then chances are that in the monti-carlo simulation of life, either you or one of your descendants who you pass those values onto, would be more likely to end up in a dead end of non-existence.
So in a way when theists position that atheists are morally culpable for their beliefs and deserve to go to hell, they are kinda right. But its the Jewish kind of Hell of non-existence.

I worry about my family suffering and not being their to prevent it from happening or help them when it does, but I don’t find the idea of non-existence scary at all. In fact, given the finite nature of our planet/star/solar system/ etc, things coming to an end appears to be the natural state of the universe.

Consider that for most of history it has been culturally very important to be remembered, one of the ways as a need that it was expressed drove the construction of memorials from the size of tombstones to the pyramids. But the flipside of this is that to ‘be remembered’ is that you have someone there to read your tombstone or gaze on your pyramid.
While we may think it is no longer important to be remembered or have kids, this is probably more a reflection of deliberately cultivated anti-family values for any number of reasons; “There’s to many people and you need to save the environment” to “Its arrogant to want kids and reproduce yourself” to simply more apathetic or agnostic opinions of its importance.
So much of modern day culture is cope that people won’t be having families and won’t have any contribution to the future. Is it deliberate or is it simply designed to lessen the sting of what is generally a pretty life enriching experience? Who knows, I suspect a bit of both.
The point is our Egregore needs us to strive to reproduce ourselves and our society. If you change the economic payoffs in terms of social trade offs, then you risk creating “evil” i.e. something that threatens or marginally diminishes the ability of our society or Egregore to project itself forward.
When everyone is in the same boat, facing the same direction, then they face the same economic incentives. Have family, raise, be supported by them, die.
If you remove the stigma of people opting out, whether it be through butt-fuckery or simple apathy, then you are giving some members an economic advantage, you are changing economic pay offs.
Singles unburded by those responsibilities, in their prime earning years and are thus able to economically out bid families for the same resources, making it even harder to have a family, while in old age you can rely on the state i.e. other people’s kids to support you.
You haven’t actually done anything evil, you may have lived a good and proper life, but in terms of perpetuating our society you’ve made it marginally harder. It our current period of super-abundance that may not be a problem, but in more marginal economic circumstances it could me the tipping point for life or death of a community.

Australia is a nation of mainly Anglo-Celtic heritage, with a resurgent Indigenous culture. It was founded in 1788 and its culture is primarily Western Anglo Saxon, with a variety of spicy immigrant contributions. If you come to Australia you should expect to assimmilate into that culture, and see yourself as essentially, of mainly Anglo-Celtic heritage, with a little cultural flavour.
This should be all their identities, no matter the “type” you listed above. That is assimilation, anything else is invasion.
