Yes – I think you are correct. Been looking at the charts, despite the apparent ferocity of the sell off, I don’t think it is nearly done yet.
The 4hr charts tell the story. On the left is where we are now. Note that the volume sell off today that produced a bit of a hammer, is after the MACD reversal indicator.
The chart on the right is the 4hr chart for the Feb sell off, when you hit a real bottom you get volume plus the roll over. The best analog for where we are now is at the green arrows imho…. a couple days respite although the 200wkly MA is at $60k which might add to bit more support and stretch it out a little longer.
The line running across the top of the tallest yellow line on the chart on the right, when it broke my 71% fib, while the top white line in the chart on the left is my 61% fib. It bounced off the 61% in Feb but imho it is only likely to briefly hold support this time around before continuing on to at least $50k
