From this point of view Sewell and his party have done a massive service. What is now framed as racism, the planet’s greatest evil, was once common sense. Leftists call this ‘progress’. They believe they are changing human nature for the better, reaching ever deeper into the hearts of people. All service must be for the system because only the system can be “fair”. Destroying the family is a stated goal. Race is an extension of family.
I think they have only got this far because we have had so few children that so many can live alone or with relatively few people in their household. It is comfortable and first, but increasingly we are discovering that we have no shared culture and cannot discuss our shared interests, let alone organise to defend them, and with few children, we have no future. Our language has been and is being subverted. Take something like “religion”, a word that used to refer to varieties of Christian practice. Now it refers to any number of radically different beliefs, all grouped together as “religion”, defined in opposition to some more “rational” belief system, like marxism or nihilism. Or nihilist marxism, etc. We have been trained to avoid serious discussion about politics or religion, so talk becomes empty. We talk less and less. The growing isolation of urban culture is not peace, it is supressed conflict. What you see in France is just the beginning of its re-emergence.

I don’t think the survival of democracy can be assumed. Judging from the darkening tone of comments in zerohedge, there are many who feel similarly.
Also, I quote from the piece Stewie linked: “America is not a piece of clay for them to mold as they please. It is not an “economic zone” for them to pilfer.”
Well done Stewie. The idea of the non-society as an economic zone has spread to zerohedge. You said it first (I think).
On another note, SHTF is now expected for 2027 after an end of year rally. Sounds about right to me. I think BTC retest of 80k looks to be a reasonable entry for the next cycle.
