If you haven’t looked into it, then that is probably a fair comment to make, the general NPC take is that the family tree of Abrahamic religions has Jews on Top, then Christians in the middle then Muslims. The reality is somewhat different.

The below is rough approximation of the Abrahamic family tree – you could go back further, but it was simply Arab Polythesim. It was built around a Parthenon of God’s, of which the supposed Jewish God “Yahweh” was only one (and not the most powerful). Indeed Yahweh even had a wife “Asherah” – there are still references to these to ‘facts’ within the bible…. somewhere in Psalms I think.

The tribes that became Israel were basically semitic bandits that lived in the desert north of Egypt, where ancient records have made mention of them. Gradually they whittled their Parthenon down to just Yahweh.

My own person speculation is that they were influenced by the short lived cult of “Sol” that existed in Egypt for a period under Pharaoh Akhenaten where he abolished all the Egyptian Parthenon of Gods and unified it under one – the advantage being that it radically cut down the priest class who were always receiving ‘sacrifices’ (tax) and started the process of unifying beliefs.

For a number of reasons this cult was fairly short lived, but the time period gels with the coalescence of the Israelits into a proto nation and although the Jews were never slaves to the Egyptians, the story of Moses, who fled Egypt in persecution does serve as a template for followers of Sol.

Anyhow, the Ancient “Jews” were simply Israelites who lived in Judea – the religion that they practiced became extinct around the time of Jesus, who was actually the precipitating cause of it ending. Their “Jewish” religion was based around a priest cast interpreting the laws, running ‘sacrifice’ scams in the temples (getting all the prime cuts), as well as their general money lending and Usury.

At the time of Jesus ‘Jews’ were more a client population of tax donkeys. Basically they were people who were ‘culturally Jewish’ being taxed by their priests Pharasees, but they were no longer necessarily ethnically Semetic, with large populations living in Rome and Greece (which is where St Paul did most of his conversions).

Jesus’s revolution was just as much a financial revolution as a spiritual one (throwing the money lenders out of the temple), and with the vast majority of people’s for which their Jewish identity was merely a yoke to enslave them, left and became Christian – which why we are told they were Jewish.

This spiritual and cultural rebellion effectively disenfranchised the Semites and usury classes, causing them no end of hatred towards Jesus (which is why they believe he is in hell boiling in a vat of shit and semen). The point is – the Ancient Jews effectively became extinct at that point.

What were left of the Ancient Jews fused with Sumerian beliefs and culture, and all the practices around the temple sacrifice, which the majority of the culture was controlled by and taxed through, ended.

Christians were actually first to codify their religion, around 200 AD, which greatly aided in its proselytization. The advantages of codifying their religion dawned on what became the Talmudic Jews, and they began to codify their own religion about 250yrs later is the 480 AD or so. But they also codified it with input from the Sumer religions, hence why the main Talmud is the Babylonian Talmud, as opposed to the Jerusalem Talmud.

Christianity charted its own course, first as mainly Coptic or Orthodox versions, some of which eventually blended across to Arabia where it was fused and incorporated into Islam (which is why Jesus is a prophet to them, and a proper Muslim will never denigrate his name – unlike a Jew).

However the Greek Jews lived alongside European Pagans in Greece for several hundred years, where “Jesus” was probably reinvented from the social revolutionary he was, and transformed or cloned onto existing pagan beliefs – Zeus being the Father, Hercules his strongest son, who was born human, obviously became Jesus, while the other gods were grafted onto various saints.

It is also important to remember that as well as being a financial and spiritual movement, early Christianity was also a very feminine religion, and only later as it was codified did the men start taking over en-masse.

This Paganizations of Christianity had a second wave introgression under Charlemagne, when many of the remaining European pagans were then Christianized. Which eventually lead to the various Latin derived Christian sects we have today.

So this is a very, very, very long way of saying that essentially Christianity already incorporates a great deal of the European pagan beliefs within it, with the advantages of being monotheist (ignoring the Trinity) without the animal and ritual sacrifice, with vastly expanded rights for women.

The “Return to Druidism” or “Paganism is our real religion” are far too hung up on the common misperception that Jews, as in the Talmudic shit heads alive today, were the precursors to Christianity. Christianity offers all the advantages of a monotheist religion, which has been imbuned with much of the moral values present in European paganism.
